Day 62 (Sat)

First of all...I have to really apologise to everyone...I didn't go to the Big Apple as planned due to some bus timing cockup that we only realise in the morning...initially we wanted to take 552 from wildwood bus terminal to atlantic city andden the $10 casino bus to New York...budden only this morning den we realise we misread the timing schedule...so the earliest bus we can take is the 4pm bus...reach New York already 7plus andden still have to rush back to catch the World Cup final tomorrow...so come to a conclusion...forget about the New York trip and save it for our travel...and this time we confirm will be der in exactly 2 weeks time...since already book Broadway Hostel for 4 nites at www.hostels.com liao...so promise the pictures will come den hor

wah actually den shiok and smart for the atlantic city casino to tink of operating a bus route all the way to New York Chinatown...jolly well knowing Chinese in general have a soft spot for gambling...anyway there was a casino shutdown in Atlantic City by the New Jersey governor...due to some budget problems...and all 12 casinos were ordered shutdown for 3 days...the 1st time since 1978 when casinos began operations...Big news in New Jersey and across USA...almost all major news network like Fox, NBC, ABC and CNN carried the news...since casinos are main source of revenue for NJ...

and guess wad...actually where else can we go...Ken and Me decided to go to Atlantic city to pay a last visit and some final shopping before we head for our travel in a fortnite's time...so off we went taking the 3pm bus after a quick lunch and settling my laundry...haven't done it for 2 weeks and the stench is growing...haha...

went to the usual shops like Gap, Banana Republic, Timberland, Nautica, H&M, American eagle and Aeropostale and so on...saw the BR polo tee that i have been eyeing since my 1st visit and only left last piece...kaoz...in the end decided not to buy coz seriously too many polo tees back home...i'm a big polo tee fan btw! haha...stopped by fossil the longest...and came out with 3 watches after almost a one-half hour hunt...

Mummy...this is for u!! this time got brand one...not like the ones i bought from HK the other time...haha

Ying...ur Fossil watch!! don't wanna get u a Big Chunky watch...this one more suitable...18 years old liao muz be more ladylike...haha...btw don't look too good on pic...trust me u will like it more when u see it

Bought this for myself...didn't plan to buy any watches for myself actually...but saw it got impulse to buy straight away...dunno why

my finds from aeropostale...someone correct me if i am wrong...there are no aero shops in s'pore rite??

didn't saw any watches suitable for Pa becasue the watches are all too young-looking...and i know he sure don't like...uncles his age only go for Rolex kindda of watch...haha...and got $$ nxt time den get one for him...anyway i have in mind what to get for him...juz keeping a secret for now...

after a solid 2 hours of all-guys shopping...it's time to satisfy those empty stomaches...went in search of the $10 eat-all-you-can buffet and there it was right before us once we turn into Boardwalk...wah lau seriously have not eaten so full since i came here...i eat and eat as though i taking revenge for all those days of stomach emptiness...got all sorts of rubbish inside...turkey...mutton...fried chicken wings...mussels...broccoli...mashed potatoes...pineapple rice...maccaroni...salad...chocolate cake...and basically Ken and I took extra servings of everything...plus free refill of drinks...seriously worth it...showing the ugly singaporean with every helping we took but who cares seriously?? they prob see us as 2 hungry chinks that are having their monthly feast...hahaha

*snort snort* a pig ready to feast...heh heh =)

i seriously think we are getting on with age...we forgot we are turning 23 and way past the stage of puberty...for we walked out of the restaurant both feeling stomach uneasy and finding hard to breathe (even after unloosening our belt buckles)...things got so bad that we have to stop and sit along the Boardwalk and wheeze...felt like puking at one stage...haha really clowns...eat so much until like that...seriously serve us right...but put 2 chink lifeguards surviving on bare essentials during the past 2 months into a buffet...this is what u will get...haha

juz enough energy to snap a shot at our pitstop...where we rest our overbloated stomaches

decided to explore the outskirts of Atlantic city...away from the huzz and buzz of the casinos and shopping district...and man it was such an adventure out on the dark streets of AC on a Sat nite...first of all witnessed a catfight out in the open in front of Bally's Casino...2 women pulling each other hair and pinning one another to the floor...eventually one stopped after her wig almost got pulled off...andden this ah pek openly reveal his backside on the streets...not exactly his backside but his white underwear soak with shit stains...seriously disgusting!! almost saw my buffet come out...andden a bunch of black gangsters yelling at us to get off the street in an alley juz after a strip club...wah felt a bit scared...lucky walk away quickly...and last but not least...we stepped into a porno shop...u heard me a shop selling all kinds of pornographic videos and sex toys and tools...man such an eye-opener!! wah lau eh seriously shocked by the variety...haha...but i muz stress we are not chee ko pek or something...seriously went in out of sheer "curiosity"...i mean where got such thing in s'pore rite...there are even private booths where u insert a dollar bill and a 3min video comes on screen for ur private viewing...pls dun ask whether we tried it...haha

decided to not stay in the district for too long and it was not getting early...went back to the bus terminal and took the 11plus bus back to wildwood...a crazy sat nite at atlantic city indeed
