Leon's Boulevard of Unspoken Dreams

A 4th Year NUS Civil Engineering (Offshore) student...with the plainest clues to life's most important questions...so to make life seem much simpler and happier than it actually is...chose to satirise and mock his already complicated and complex 24 years of life history in this blog journal...on the quest to seek the real truth...on the journey to chase his endless dreams...and on the voyage to find out his eternal destiny...ahhhh nothing but crap again...

Day 52 (Wed)

Woke up with half the day gone...lucky OFF again today otherwise seriously dunno where to find the energy to do the 10/20s for the whole day...
Finally booked air tickets from priceline with Naf, JK and Ken in the aftnoon...as of now flight is confirmed on 26th July from New York JFK to Las Vegas...Delta Airlines...not too exp also at $163...5 hours flight from the west coast to the east...
aftwhich went to raging waters with ken to take some pics for memory sake...and to finally show those places I have been orating about for the past whole month or so...Lazy River, Fountain Pool, Serpentines and the love-it-or-hate-it sky ponds...and of coz not much time left in Wildwood...about 3 weeks or so...so time to start some photo hunting or else no time liao...

ahhhha my beloved fountain pool...look at the lifeguard sit until open leg big big...one of the most shiok place to guard...haha

the send-out...where lifeguards get their spots and the Head Guard is stationed...Timon our fav Slovenian Hunk on Head Guard duty today

FX caokenging at the activity pool

The Lazy River or Endless River as it is known...supervisors' fav spot to audit the sleepy lifeguards...throwing in their mannequins from every possible angle they can think of

Eric the robotcop demonstrating one of his routine yet always perfect 10/20s

Camp Kidstatrophe - Camp KT rather...kids' fantasy...lifeguards' nightmare...it's cold and wet and on top of that muz keep an eye on lottsa american brats

A bigger view of Camp KT

A jam-packed Shoals Floater...the picture quite deceiving actually...becoz of casino group that's why it is so crowded...

Sky Pond Splash...bottom of the infamous sky ponds of raging waters...normally the act-tough lifeguards will go up there and slide down without tubes...often with bunps and knocks in the course of doing that...haha

Aerial view of the activity pool

Look at that queue man!! All the way from the top to the bottom...till now i am still trying to figure out what's so damn attractive about sliding down slides with your butts tightly fixed to some flimsy yellow tubes

A lifeguard managing a wry smile after pushing away an Ah Soh at Sky Pond D...that's the average size we have to push each day btw....whooooh wheeeee

the clock out room where lifeguards clock in and out obviously using some high tech fingerprint technology...and where we put our belongings

Snapped this shot and two cheeseburgers with yenny during her lunchbreak

Presenting to you Raging Waters Mariner's Landing

After Raging waters...Ken and Me hopped down to Ocean Oasis the other waterpark at Surfside Pier a 10 minutes walk away...tried the cliff-hanging Cliff-Dive thrice...the only ride in the 2 waterparks that I really felt I was gonna die for that split second...I mean the ride is literally free-falling with the projection of the slide almost 90 degrees from the ground...dunno is i getting older or what...guts getting smaller with age...but felt rather jerky before trying the cliff dive for the 1st time...haha...used to dare to try any ride you can find when i was 15 or 16...now throw me a ride and i have to think twice first...haha...on the whole ocean oasis is almost the same as raging waters...both having rocket raft runs...fountain pools...activity pools...shotgun falls and so on...stayed for about an hour before leaving the waterpark...

went for a brief run and exercise before dinner...wanted to try the stadium track but it was locked somehow...end up working out at the fitness station and jogging back to the Mag...ready to whip up a good meal for dinner after the adrenaline rush at ocean oasis and the exhaustion at the fitness station...ready to satisfy some famished stomachs after yet another-fufilling OFF day...

Dinner for the day - L to R: Fried Prawns with shrimp sauce, Dish of Broccoli+Cauliflower+Carrots+Beef, Egg Omelette with sliced sauages
