Leon's Boulevard of Unspoken Dreams

A 4th Year NUS Civil Engineering (Offshore) student...with the plainest clues to life's most important questions...so to make life seem much simpler and happier than it actually is...chose to satirise and mock his already complicated and complex 24 years of life history in this blog journal...on the quest to seek the real truth...on the journey to chase his endless dreams...and on the voyage to find out his eternal destiny...ahhhh nothing but crap again...

Day 54 (Fri)

The most sian thing to wake up ready to surf net, dl music and blog on a lazy morning like this...with your laptop on and with the connection and signal strength reflected as excellent...the next thing is you click Internet Explorer and they direct u to that dreadful but familiar "Webpage not found"...Damn internet down again...feeling super chui...simply feel paralysed without internet...pissed at the same time since this is not the 1st time liao...grabbed ken's reader digest on the top of the drawer and started to prance thru it while waiting for the Argentina match to kick off...always loved reading reader's digest in the past...one of my fav to read before i sleep together with newsweek and times...don't get me wrong that i use them to put me to sleep...but call me no life or what...i simply love to read about true and inspring stories...current affairs about the global world and so on...in fact i remembered vividly i was still grabbing my newsweek instead of my 10-year series thru my A Levels...that explains my grades...hahaha

Only need to report work at 2pm today...damn slack...for my last 3 weeks here...life will most prob be like that...work 3 full days...2 off days...and 2 half days...an equivalent of 4 full working days...

it's 11!! time to catch my Argentina in action against host Germany...wah piangz eh!! confirm the match kelong lah...why would they take out your best player Riquelme and your top striker Crespo when you are leading against the Germans with just 10 minutes left???!?? com'mon...it is Germany at home you are facing...and it is a World Cup Quarterfinal...wat a outright stupid...senseless thing to do...and the whole Argentina team went to sleep in the 2nd half...referee also another idiot...whole time siding the Germans...and go out penalties is the worst thing that can happen...heartbreaking really...this time really must sing "Don't Cry for me Argentina"...

affected my mood for the whole day...my fav team outta world cup...still pissed when i clock in for work...lucky work is slack today...started late and was barely in the rotation map for 3 spots before got called out for a 15min break...went wif FX, JK and Ken to the employee break area during the break to discuss our Washington trip due tml...haven't rent the car...no plans and preparations made at all and worse FX cannot change OFF...and we need him coz he's the only one with credit card...decided to postpone the trip till they come back from Niagara Falls trip...which is 1 week before we leave wildwood for good...and die die must visit Washington coz i have made plans to voice out my concern on everything about the Bush Administration outside the white house...it is the least i can do as a civic-minded global citizen...

went back after our discussion and realised we were 15min late...but the blur new headguard from Lithuania totally has no clue to that...sent us out for sai kang around the waterpark...picking up lifejackets...straighten the sun-tanning chairs...sweep the floor and so on...do for more than an hour and call it a day at the waterpark...

went to ML to work after almost a 2 weeks absence...by right say wanna train me for ticketing at new ride when i asked at the sendout after knocking off from lifeguard...end up still send me back to sea dragon when YL and another Russian gal is already there...with 3 operators onboard i was assigned to collecting tickets...haha something extra miscellaneous considering the ride only need 1 to operate...but ironically i was the only one left working until closing at midnight...since YL not feeling well and the Russian gal can't wait to rush off to find her bf...fireworks came on halfway prob in lieu of the upcoming Independence Day...wish i was up there in the Giant Wheel taking photos instead of closing lap bars at the Sea Dragon...but nevertheless...still got a rather good view and no doubt fireworks are always a treat for the eyes...walked home along Boardwalk after my work with the company of my mp3...in my mind thinking of what to do for OFF tomorrow...it's gonna be a World Cup marathon i predict with Eng vs Port and Brazil Vs France...YEAHHHHH
