A 4th Year NUS Civil Engineering (Offshore) student...with the plainest clues to life's most important questions...so to make life seem much simpler and happier than it actually is...chose to satirise and mock his already complicated and complex 24 years of life history in this blog journal...on the quest to seek the real truth...on the journey to chase his endless dreams...and on the voyage to find out his eternal destiny...ahhhh nothing but crap again...

Day 49 (Sun)

Always love waking up to rainy days...and laze in my bed watching the rain through the bedroom windows...the bed always feel extra comfy and the blanket extra warm on rainy days...somehow u juz don't feel like getting out of bed and remain in your bed for the rest of the day...

"Listen to the rhythm of the falling rain
Telling me just what a fool I've been
I wish that it would go and let me cry in vain
And let me be alone again"

But life can't be all that simple can it?? u gotta wake up, brush your teeth, bathe, cook breakfast, change and get ready for work...andden get rid of that big bag of dirty laundry lying in the corner of the room!! haha haven't done my laundry in almost 2 weeks and haven't talk to mummy for that same amount of time...so decided to do that early in the morning before reporting for work at 12...but the rain had to interrupt my plans...not that i am complaining...was just thinking if the rain stays this way...it will be my 3rd consecutive OFF day...longest holiday I have since I came here no doubt...as good as it sounds...haha

called home at ard 10plus...andden prepared my brunch of instant mee with as many add-ons as I can dig from the fridge...den hopped down with the boys to the "common lounge" to watch the England vs Ecuador game at 11...was barred from John the last time rd but this time the Hongkees have already moved in so shudden be too much of an objection...aft all HK and S'pore should be quite friendly having the same British colonial heritage...haha if that is the excuse to borrow their lounge for world cup...but they turn out to be not so friendly...barely before the 1st half end...tell us say they want to rest and asked us to shift to the next lounge opp...i mean want to rest?? u gotta be pulling my toes?? it's 11.30 am leh!?! ok maybe Hongkees need longer time to recover from jet lag (they have been here for 2 wks already btw) so bobian on account of keeping our cordial neighbourliness intact with the hongkees...we shifted our arses to the next lounge to catch the game...

then the TERRIFIC news start to stream in...

RAGING WATERS WILL BE CLOSED FOR THE DAY DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER

prayers were answered...it's damn irritating if u r watching a World Cup...and i stress World Cup match halfway andden need to change to get ready for work...wah kaoz!! really shiok can watch the whole match plus the must-watch portugal-holland match at 3 later...i seriously quite hack care about the working hours now man...world cup is the only thing on my mind...at least until 9th July...

*Yawnz* seriously boring the match...england only got the beckham freekick to show and still say they can win the cup...wake up from ur dreams pls!! Argentina and Brazil will spank those British arses and tell them who is the real Godfather of football come the semis and final (if they ever made it that far)...

went to laundry in the aftnoon during half time of the portugal-holland game...wah i will never go back there on a sunday again man...many cars were parked outside and almost all the washing machines are in use...later even gotta queue for the dryer...watched the 2nd half at the laundry shop...a tension-filled game and worse with the siao siao ref adding fuel to flames...i was wondering whether it will become the 1st world cup match to be abandoned...

a quiet sunday night by normal standards...did'nt go to ML to work...prob had my last day there liao...stayed in my room aft dinner...surf net, DL music and listen to my mp3...sudden urge to listen to some chinese songs aft a bit bored of the daily diet of english songs on radio and at the waterpark...tune into 933 online...haha better listen to some new chinese songs...if not go back sure kenna shoot by my ktv khakis for failing to keep up with times...it's 1 plus before i knew it...and a lazy sunday juz wheeze past like that...zzzzzzzz...
