Leon's Boulevard of Unspoken Dreams

A 4th Year NUS Civil Engineering (Offshore) student...with the plainest clues to life's most important questions...so to make life seem much simpler and happier than it actually is...chose to satirise and mock his already complicated and complex 24 years of life history in this blog journal...on the quest to seek the real truth...on the journey to chase his endless dreams...and on the voyage to find out his eternal destiny...ahhhh nothing but crap again...

Day 51 (Tues)

Woke up refreshed after another 8 hours of sleep...dunno why past few days i have been sleeping so much too...prob to account for the time loss accumulated over the past month or so...weekly in-service in the morning...played a game or maybe not exactly a game...everyone juz gotta stand up, introduce yourself and answer 4 questions about yourself...

Hi everyone...I am Leon from Singapore

Q: What is your wish right now?
A: My wish right now is to be in Germany watching the World Cup. (Some pple answered world peace...hahaha...Mr JK said that himself)

Q: What is your favourite food?
A: Seafood

Q: Who is your favourite artiste?
A: No favourite in particular but I enjoy listening soft rock, punk rock and metal rock music

Q: Where is one place you want to go on vacation?
A: Greece...heard so much about her beauiful temples and has always been mystified by ancient Greek mythology (forgot to answer this actually)

spent the rest of the time trying to understand some very difficult accents as everyone took turn answering their questions one by one...aft which some practise on CPR skills before opening for business at 10 am...2nd day of casino group visit...the crowd was pretty much like yesterday...crowded but not to an insane level...got audited today for CPR skills...seems like a long time since i was audited...haha...but could hardly go wrong this time when I juz practised it in the morning during In-Service...was promised a bead but as usual when the supervisor say "later i will give you a bead"...the "later" will never come...haha...

Finally...we sat down at night and made some concrete plans about our travel...we could hardly afford any more delays with domestic airlines ticket prices skyrocketing everyday...and we shall...we will...and we must get our travel plans fixed asap...since it's only a short 3 weeks away from now...as of now Ken, JK, Naf and me will be travelling together...and we got our rough travel itinerary out as follows

2oth July: Contract Ends!! Adieu Morey's Pier! Sayonara Wildwood! Zai Jian ML! Goodbye Raging Waters!

21st July: Collect last paycheck...leave for New York on Limousine (i am serious...limousine service is cheaper than bus)

26th July: Leave New York for the entertainment capital of the world - Las Vegas!! (With a stopover at Grand Canyon)

31th July: Leave Las Vegas for Los Angeles (Hollywood here we come!!)

4th August: Depart US from LA to Taipei (ahhhh one of my all-time must-visit destinations)

10th August: Majulah Singapura (Pa and Mummy...decided to extend by 1 day my stay...haha)

feels good...at least got something ironed out now...hopefully all things go smoothly...initially wanted to visit San Francisco but realised out of the way...see how this is draft 1 only...more drafts coming along the way...

went superfresh alone after dinner and came back with 4 heavy bags of groceries...and walk the distance of Bugis to my house...damn shagged but was juz smiling to myself thinking i actually enjoy it...the life i am leading now...really cannot imagine 1 year ago i will be walking along an empty street...on a chilly summer night in USA...with my mp3 in full tow...with 4 full bags of groceries on both hands...and plain smiling to myself...sounds idiotic i know...but idiots always seem to be so much happy isn't it??

hopped down to the bowling center in super heavy downpour at ard midnight...there's a bowling nite organised for all ride operators and we decided to chup in...i mean not chup lah since aftall we are considered part-time ride operators...haha but lifeguards are not told to join by the supervisors but we simply juz went ahead...free pizza...free coke...and best of all free bowling...glad we braved the rain for all these...bowled my highest crossing the 100-mark...yah but forgot to say the drains for my lanes are covered...it's for amateurs practise...hahaha...my bowling simply sucks i know...juz can't find a reason for it...tsk tsk...finally at 3 forced to go back home by the bowling center...and the whole throng of ride operators marched back to the Mag in the light morning drizzle...drained by one full day of activities...

Me and my sea dragon partner YL at the bowling center
