Leon's Boulevard of Unspoken Dreams

A 4th Year NUS Civil Engineering (Offshore) student...with the plainest clues to life's most important questions...so to make life seem much simpler and happier than it actually is...chose to satirise and mock his already complicated and complex 24 years of life history in this blog journal...on the quest to seek the real truth...on the journey to chase his endless dreams...and on the voyage to find out his eternal destiny...ahhhh nothing but crap again...

Day 67 (Thurs)

Blogger's note: First of all, I would like to apologise for not updating my blog for almost a week...as some of you have known by now...I juz came back from Washington DC the previous night...what was suppose to be a 1 Day sightseeing trip turns out to be a 3 Day long nightmarish ordeal...the car i was in had a terrible accident on our way back on the highway on Saturday...i am really juz that lucky to be sitting down here in the comforts of my bed typing this blog...for the 1st time in my life i felt i was going to die...in fact i was juz that close to death...a terrifying, shocking, distressing and literally high end helicopter drama...no doubt one of the most horrifying experience of the whole US trip...if not my entire life...Thank you Mag 1 and Mag 2 guys for all the concern u have shown...let me slowly recollect my feelings and thoughts as i recount to you guys this real-life experience that i went thru within the next few days...as Naf put it...someone up there must have really like me...

stayed in the rotation sheet for the entire day except a brief moment in the morning when i was assigned to be the rotator for Shallow 1 rotation...and swept the floor for a while before going into the rotation...manage to siam the sky ponds for the 3rd day in a row...i highly suspect this is the reason why i have been feeling so lerthagic for the past few days...i seriously need a dose of the ponds everyday to keep me awake...haha

the casino group has left and what a difference it makes...the crowd has thinned out susbstantially...and it is considered to be a relatively non-busy day for the waterpark...gone with the casino pple also means gone with the free lunch...back to the days of eating self-made sandwiches with chicken bologna, cheese and cucumbers and an apple that will barely fill my stomach halfway...no choice this is life...you can't have the best of both worlds in any cases...

seriously shagged staying in rotation the whole day...and when you are working 4 full days in a row...i basically covered all the river spots except River 3 where it's a Deep Guard position and all the Camp KT spots except KT Boys...tiring tiring tiring...my only motivation is the next 2 consecutive Days Off...Yipeee!! Off to Washington DC...seeing the White House up close face to face for the 1st time...just can't wait for 7pm to quicky come and say goodby to Raging Waters until Sunday...relief came in the form of a sudden downpour at around 6.30...half and hour before closing...an announcement saying the waterpark will be closed temporarily due to inclement weather...at that time i was still stuck at KT West...and i can't help smiling to myself upon hearing that...the temporarily closed turn out to be permanently closed for the evening for the rain did not stop till 7.30pm...

went with the rest for sphagetti night under the picnic area...for 2.50 bucks...you can have free flow of sphagetti...meatballs...salad...sliced toasted bread and icecream...quite a good deal so sort of must try it before leaving this place...free live music to kick in the deal as well...sphagetti turns out to be quite ok but the meatball was rather delicious...gulped down 5 meatballs without any hesitation...

went back after the dinner and set down to discuss the washington trip for tomorrow...a little bit of problem cropped up as to who was going and not going...there was some serious disputes for quite a while and the whole trip risked being called off...don't wish to elaborate further but tension broke out in the apartment...which is solved amicably in the end...after some tough personal issues to handle...in the end...Me, JK, Ken, FX and 2 taiwanese gals Angela and Jessica are the confirmed group...chatted wif Angela and Jessica in our room for quite some time until 2 plus...wah these taiwanese gals are seriously bubbly and chatty...haha lucky last time got watch taiwanese shows...so still can chat with them a bit...was happily chatting until realised tml got to wake up early in the morning...surfed net and check my mail for a while before resting for the nite...wah shiok!! ding mei finally replied the mail...SEP is still on!! budden got small prob need to find new module to map my CE3155...tink anyhow whack liao...as long as the Canadian dream is still on...slept at 3 plus finally...Washington...White House...Pentagon...Here I come!!!!
