Leon's Boulevard of Unspoken Dreams

A 4th Year NUS Civil Engineering (Offshore) student...with the plainest clues to life's most important questions...so to make life seem much simpler and happier than it actually is...chose to satirise and mock his already complicated and complex 24 years of life history in this blog journal...on the quest to seek the real truth...on the journey to chase his endless dreams...and on the voyage to find out his eternal destiny...ahhhh nothing but crap again...

Day 30 (Tues - Lifeguard Training Day 2)

Got to report late for work today...at 11.20 in fact coz we have completed the ride training portion in our previous training class...feels really shiok to wake up late...more time to sleep and recuperate from yesterday's surprisingly tough training...another pathetically cold and windy day...totally not ideal for jumping in and out of the pool repeatedly...but at least it is a short day...hit the water before and after lunch...practised on the 3 different types of active saving skills...namely front drive - used for active victim who is on the surface and facing you...rear huggies - used for active victim who is on the surface but not facing u and dug plug - used for active victim who is just below the surface and within 's arm reach...was thinking heng is shallow water guard...the deep water guard training is freakin xiong...gotta thread water non-stop since the training pool is 10ft (3m) deep...at least the shallow water guards can stand on the floor of the swimming pool...

was given more practice on CPR skills in the aftnoon...simply love playing the victim...juz lay flat on the floor and sleep...and sleep i really did...i mean when it's time to switch roles to rescuer...muz really force myself to sit up...the whole thing is getting so damn monotonous and draggy...and together with the last training class...i muz have went through the whole CPR sequence at least 100 times...really no joke i seriously mean 100 times...it is so hard and well-drilled in my head that i seriously considering applying for part-time lifeguard at SRC pool nxt sem...

decided to choose Tony's over soccer tonite...the wings dipped in Tony's sauce is simply too tempting and too finger lickin good...went with ken and had a good nite talking cock over corona and Tony's wings...corona and Tony's wings...a heavenly combination in wildwood...totally warmed up my weather-beaten body and heated up every single vein, artery, nerves and tendon...can't wait for the nxt tues to come as soon as i stepped out of Tony's...but then another 2 days of cold-turkey training to tong...sighz...
