Went to the Speedwing office at Goldhill Center (opp IRAS) for a post Work & Travel review and feedback session early this morning...shun bian to collect a certificate of participation for the work and travel programme...not bad still got cert to collect for this programme...haha...

met ken earlier for breakfast at the kopitiam nearby...lucky the office still quite near our house...if not seriously ask me to wake up so early on a saturday morning juz to feedback and collect one cert i also dun wanna come...we were the first batch from Morey's Piers to arrive...all the apartment 5 gang came except the clown Naf...duly gave our feedback to the manager...complain abt the sucky internet at Mag 2...the pathetic apartment that we were given...and u know wad...the pple are gonna get paid 7.15USD starting frm next summer...nb damn suay lah...that 1USD increase will sure hell make a lot of diff loh...and of coz mentioned abt our I95 accident...in fact the manager knew abt it b4 we even told her...she juz came back from a visit to morey's pier and have heard about our accident...waaah actually turns out to be such big news...and juz nice the 4 main leads of the drama are right here at the same feedback session...steven, JK, Ken and me...
...but we didn't put it too mean lah actually...juz merely mention that we were not treated very well after we call back to ask for help from Morey's...which is sort of the whole story lah...i mean we were really having an emergency situation and the least we could ask for is that morey's send someone down to fetch us...and it is not like say we are in hawaii or zimbawe...we are juz a 3 hours drive away loh...gave our honest feedback and express our unhappiness...the manager seems to take it quite seriously...hopefully they do what is due lah hor...so in case nxt time suay suay any more students get into situations like these...they wun go thru what we went thru loh...and rite now i am still getting hospital bills all the way from Christiana Care US lah...dunno why the insurance haven settle yet...mailed andie from CIEE...and she replied saying it's juz the culture in US...always got prob with insurance...the insurance specialist will help me settle...Heng ah...the bloody bill is almost 2.5k lah...USD somemore...make my b**** drops for a while when i saw the bill...

signed up for the roadshow to promote next summer's WAT...ok lah juz one whole saturday telling pple abt how good the prog is and all that...den get paid 6 bucks an hour...sounds like a good deal...only thing is that day like a bit close to exams liao...anyway who wans to take part in next summer's WAT ah?? contact me...i am the promoter...haha...need to give out flyers in sch somemore...$$ hard to earn these days ah...
went over to United square yakun for a chat with the gang later joined by the SMU gals...too bad naf never come if not can have a complete gathering...chatted for a while before we chao...ken and me went off to mambo at lucky for some games first before meeting a VIP for lunch later...haha
introducing Cheryl!! my bro's new gf!! hahaha...yah met up with ken's new gf for lunch at thai express Paragon...have been wanting to meet one another lah but no chance...and now today finally got chance to meet up aft hearing so much abt her...haha...not bad ah bro...got urself such a sweet, understanding and friendly gf...and indirectly i muz claim some credit also ah...heh heh...u know wad i mean ah...
btw got an arm wallet from the Nike shop at Taka yesterday...quite a good investment...when u exercise with ur fav music u can juz feel the diff lah...nowadays i run not 10min feel like stopping liao...need some sort of motivation...den i tot maybe get an arm wallet put the mp3 when i run might have diff effect lah...maybe more motivated also...haha...bobian ippt is here again...better start to train...still kan forget my humiliation last year by some young teenage PTI...nb suan me aft my 2.4...this year muz try harder...main thing running with the arm wallet like more seh also...haha...everything not impt but seh most impt!! haha

basically der r a few jobs to choose for s'pore students...food & beverage, guest services, games, ride operators and lifeguards...it really depends on wad sort of environment u like...like being in the sun, talking with pple etc etc...
generally the supervisors der r all very friendly and nice pple...housing wise they will have accomodation arranged for u...and the place is rather cosy & clean...and most imptly free wifi!! :)
suppose u comin down for the recruitment talk on 21st Oct yah...u can find out more frm the employers and students who went like myself...or u can go to their website www.moreyspiers.com to check it out...hope i gave u a rough pic of morey's yah :)

yah actually no need to worry too much abt the interview...they usually will give the job most of the time...not unless saying something like very stupid that day...so no worries on that...they usually need quite a number of food pple i tink...
yup the wifi is thruout the whole house...and it is juz some very simple configuration...and the speed is not bad too...
basically there are 2 houses mag 1 and mag 2...about 10 apartments each with 2 - 4 rooms inside...abt 2-4 pple share one room...a shared bathroom and kitchen per apt...a bit small but it's juz all part of communal living i guess
