Day 71 (Mon)

last nite's sleep could not be better...sleeping on my bed and in the place i have come to call home for the past 2 months after a nightmarish 3 days...it juz described how badly i juz wanna come back to wildwood all the way from newark even though we have to go thru all the troublesome bus transfers...washed away whatever wornout woes i had accumulated over the past few days...the accident is still fresh on my mind when i woke up...my head still hurts a little and my right ear feels a little sore...

Me, Ken and JK decided to report for work at 12 plus instead...we were supposed to report at 8.30am but we guess taking the morning off after a tiring 3 days of lack of sleep and trauma would be a good idea...woke up at 10plus to find a surprise hanging on the room door's knob...

wah lau pork rib herbal soup!!!

wah the soup is juz fantastic...taste exactly like mum's soup back home...wah Pam had took 3 hours last nite to brew it and heard she only slept at 4plus...somemore had to pack her bags at the same time since she's leaving later in the afternoon...wah seriously very touched...thanks lots Pamela!! really appreciate it...have a safe and enjoyable travel with Emily :)

decided to go to work today even though the rest had advised me to take the day off...didn't wan to stay at home by myself...juz wanna go back to work and resume my normal routine asap...aft all i am feeling perfectly alright anyway...no prob getting down the sky pond and pushing people...i am not like say my arms cannot move and my legs cannot walk like that...besides still gotta work enough to make up for this week's rent...aftall only left 4 official days of working...andden out of wildwood for the next leg of travel again...haha...i muz admit though the accident has somewhat dampen my mood for travelling already...i mean anybody's mood would have defitnitely been affected given wad happened...all i am looking forward now is to embrace my family again at changi come august 10th...hopefully my mood will pick up once we start to hit the roads again...

back to the waterpark for the 1st time since the accident...i guess all the supervisors would prob have heard about what happen...and some of them like Rokas, Kathy and Courtney enquired me about the details...as for the lifeguards most of them didn't know abt the accident except the columbians...Daniel for one whenever he sees me will give me a hug and say "Thank God you are alive"...haha friendly and flamboyant pple...it's juz in their culture i guess...maybe it was a good idea to rest at home or hit the beach alone aftall...coz most of the time i juz spent reflecting on the accident while continuing rotating my head doing my 10/20 without actually scanning the water...

back to doing 10/20 at my beloved fountain pool less than 48 hours after the accident...thks eric for the pic :)

after work went with ken to panda for dinner...ordered beef with mixed veggies...prob the final time eating at panda liao...gonna miss the food and the 2 "zhi yi" sisters at the counter...haha...but i muz say it doesn't seem to be as tasty as the 1st time we ate...still can remem how when we first came to wildwood we were panda addicts...they were a source of comfort away from home...but over the past month or so...seldom visit panda liao since we manage to pick up some cooking along the way...not to say the food we cook can fight with panda but at least it's still edible and confirm less exp...

went over to superfresh nxt to do some final grocery shopping as well...leaving this sat so not much grocery to top up...left superfresh spending my record least...only $7 in all...coz i only bought milk, bread and apples...next hop over to CVS to see whether can buy anything that will come in handy for travel...picked up a card for Hong's bdae which is juz rd the corner...decided not to send it back but passed it to her since it will take like 11 days to reach back home...so no point...but still wanna give u a sneek peek of how the card looks like...heehee

was suppose to wait for jessie and angie to come to hold some sort of farewell party for FX who will be leaving tml but fell asleep when i got back...too tired lah really paiseh...somemore they had bought all the chips and biscuits over only to find us asleep...so sorry guys tml got to wake up early at 6.30 for in-service and somemore feelin a bit tired also :p
