Was involved in the WAT Summer 2007 roadshow at orchard hotel for the whole of yesterday...it's been a very very very long time since i gotta work up so early in the morning...bobian the student helpers all gotta report at 7am...that means having to wake up at 6, bathe and rush to orchard mrt and from der still have to walk like 15min pass the thai embassy towards delphi...Heng still manage to reach like 10 minutes after 7...by then most of the helpers have gathered...

was briefed on our duties for the day...lucky kenna easy job...juz need to stand at the ballroom entrance and usher students into the ballroom for the presentation and make sure they all move towards the front...den while they having interviews with the employers...man the queue number stations which will be pretty slack by den since most of the students would have arrived...

not even 8am and can see a few ks students coming in liao...and by 9am the whole ballroom foyer was already packed to the brim...waah this program is really getting more and more popular...so many students going for WAT next year...overall heard like got 700 over in all...seeing the many enthusiastic and excited faces reminds me of myself last year...full of anticipation for the program and totally excited about the prospects of living so far away from home and for so long for the very 1st time...absolutely eager to experience what the so called American dream is really like...turns out to be one experience more than i can ask for really...seeing these pple signing up really gave me an urge to go again...haha too bad got internship next summer...if not...heehee...another WAT? why not really?

went thru the morning session rather smoothly and times seems to pass by quicker den i thought...encountered a few demanding students here and der...and met some familiar faces going for WAT nxt year...wah muz also say some of these students really never fail to amuse me...came here literally deck out in their corporate best...long sleeved shirts with ties somemore...hahaha...come'on lah...wad kind of work u interviewing for?? CEO of Pepsi or CFO of MacDonald's...pls lah it's all sai kang lah...helping the ang mohs to pick up trash and litter, press a few buttons to entertain them, or pushing them down the slides in silly looking floats...need to wear until so formal anot?? wahaha...at least there is something to joke and laugh abt with fellow helpers...so time can pass faster...

Spotted Denise and John who came down for Morey's...came over before the afternoon session started to say Hello to me...andden of all things i expect them to say...of all the stuff i could possibly hear them tell me...this is defitnitely not the one i would like to hear from them...THE BOMBSHELL of the Day:

"Yes I understand there are good times and bad times...and I read of how you wrote that I could be sitting in my office but instead I came down and train you guys...and made u guys do compact jumps until i am satisfied...you even called me ur corporate american idol...haha..."

i wish i could dig a hole right in the ballroom and bury my head inside...oh my gawd!!! Denise reads my blog...oh man how embarassing it was for me really when she told me that...wah lau eh...she muz have read abt the accident when i used some rather "provocative" words...lucky she mention the one i described her as my american idol...wah kaoz...super paiseh...now i finally realise how dangerous blogging is...esp when ur boss reads ur blog!! haha...but no hard feelings really (i hope =p)...she even encourage me to keep my blog going when we bade our farewells at the end of the day...lucky i station outside...really help to reduce the awkwardness abit...but really shocked man...wad is the chance of finding my blog online and my boss has to see it...haha

after buanging one whole day...it's back to studies...severely lagging behind in work...assignments, reviews, essays and the every sem irritates-me-like-hell lab reports...and a series of tests lining up...and exams coming also!! wah lau the mere thought of all these really makes me super nua...juz wanna slack now lah after "working" one whole day yesday...how i wish every sem got one WAT to look forward to...maybe that's why...nothing to look forward to for the holidays except can picture myself toiling in sweat and blood under the hot sun in Sembawang shipyard...sighz...i should be suntanning with a book at malibu beach lah...haiyah...no wonder no motivation this sem...haha...lucky tues holiday...so still got one day to compensate for yesday...and super long weekend since mondays are off days!! hurray!!

wah lau eh...can someone tell benitez to stop tinkering the squad anot...change here and there until i can't even recognise it's my beloved REDS on the field lah...knn ManU too strong...really deserve the defeat...feels esp sad after losing to ManU everytime i dunno why...all started with Cantona lah...score the bleddy goal in the 1996 FA Cup Final and made me cry somemore...from den on every defeat to the bleddy devils feels like a dagger piercing thru my heart...painful really...
