Day 82 (Fri) *LV Day 3*

woke up with a slight hangover this morning...and only to realise there is not much time left for my free pancake breakfast...ohhhh shit...quickly got out of bed and rush to the kitchen to make my pancakes...my pancakes didn't turn out too well this morning though...even got laughed at by some ang moh queueing up behind me saying with his irritating scottish accent "ooohh heeheehe...that's gotta be the worst pancakes i ever seen" end up his pancakes also not that spectac...chao ta somemore...haha serves him right for laughing at me in the 1st place...

we decided to spend today galivanting ard the rest of the Strip and leave Grand Canyon for tml...wise choice considering we haven't really recover from the stupor accumulated from the huzz of last nite's activities...haha ok guys in case u r still wondering wad we have been up to last nite...i tink i gotta be honest lah like that...WE were...WE were actually...WE were actually juz playing scrabble in our hostel room thru a Las Vegas nite lah...hahaha...believe it or not up to u...i mean com'on lah...wad is there to do in Sin City at nite except gambling at the poker tables and errmm *pretend to clear throat*...ok lah should stop right here liao...heh

ok the decision has been made...we have decided to rent a car and drive up to Grand Canyon tml 1st thing in the morning...okok i know i know...i know i have told Pa i will not be driving in US anymore...yah and it's been less than a month since the accident...yes i know i am putting my life on the line again...and testing my luck to the limit by making the decision to drive again...but seriously...after considering the costs, the time we could save, the freedom and everything...booking a tour to the Grand Canyon would cost like almost 120bucks while renting a car will only be half that price...being tied down with a budget and with 2 more cities LA and Taipei...i guess driving up would seem the more economical solution...and obviously Naf would of coz make a better driver i suppose...yes i know i am tempting fate by hitting the roads again so soon after escaping death by literally a whisker...but i guess if seriously something happens again...den all i can say it is juz my fate...

took the 1pm shuttle bus again to Treasure Island and started exploring the casinos we have missed yesterday...the Bellagio where Ocean's 11 was shot and the Venetian...haha i only know it too well...aftall Vortigern Entertainment is the parent company of Venetian...haha...

after exploring ard Bellagio...we decided it is time for some table action...time for the $$ to roll in boys!! we hunt ard and from securities and working staff of the various hotels' reception...we manage to find out there is a $1 blackjack table at Circus Circus - Slots A Fun...hahaha...people come Las Vegas for high rolling action...while we poor backpackers have to hunt ard for 1buck table in Las Veags...really budget bobian...next time come back muz stay at Caesars, zip ard in limo, eat at Eiffel Tower Restaurant and bet at the min$25 roulette table!! wah kaoz now muz stay at downtown hostel, take free shuttle bus, eat $1 Macs double cheeseburgers and bet on $1 Blackjack tables...hahaha

after almost what is a half-hour hike in the 40degrees Nevada heat...we finally spotted our destination!! knowing we jolly well gonna have a blackjack marathon inside...we decided to fill our stomaches with some double cheese first before heading in...the 1 buck table was filled...so i keh kiang...go and bet on the 3buck table myself first...wah kaoz always same old story...was winning like 10 over bucks at first change dealer and end up losing 20 bucks...dulan stopped playing den went over to the $1 table...sat down and guess wad...the dealer had 5 '21s' in a row!! i really not joking...ken and naf can testify to that...5 '21s' in a row!! what's the chance of that man?? a guy even left the table not without mumbling in his mouth that he haven't seen this in 3 years of gambling action...we stayed on for the next 5 hours while mugant and JK gotta leave without a valid ID midway...changed over 5 dealers before deciding enough for the day liao...and by den it is already 9pm and my eyes are getting tired and my butt is aching...overall lost 25bucks exactly...aiyah shudden have tried the 3buck table at first...sighz...went to Macs with mugant who have been waiting for more den 3 hours for us for some snacks...den took a cab back to rest...enough of action for today...for Grand Canyon is waiting to receive us tml!! can't wait to see sunset over there...sunset at Grand Canyon...can almost imagine what it will be like...
