A picture says a thousand words...the 1st lunch i had at moreys' Pier - the JUMBO pizza (that's my hand btw)Brrrgrrrrghhhhrrrrrrggh
A day of snooze, sneeze and shiver...it's freezing tonite...blogging frm 2 thick layers of blanket and still cannot withstand this bout of late spring-early summer chill...how i wish i have a good solid pair of hand knitted-wollen gloves to keep my fingers warm as i could hardly type on my laptop without suffering from the chills of this rather unusual cold weather in wildwood...even locals we have encountered at a local pizza joint have said that it's so unlike the typical wildwood summer...by now should be approaching sunny summer and temperatures are still hovering at 12degrees...in fact the day we arrived in wildwood was reportedly the coldest day in weeks...is it a sign of great global climate changes? end of the world coming? i simply dismiss it that we are plain suay...esp me...the idiot that brought only 1 windbreaker, no trackpants to sleep at nite and a couple of jeans...but in anycase no matter how cold the weather is, how strong the winds can be, how badly i am shivering, how numb my fingers are...i will blog on...for the mails and comments i have received frm friens have provided that much needed warmth...so touched by each of them...thks guys! u will never walk (blog) alone...
woke at half past 9...went for a run with my apartment mates during the morning when the climate was still rather warm...nothing new went out of breadth before the end of the boadwalk and joined eric and NF for a slow walk back...while ken and FX sped off ahead...speaking abt eric...juz found out he was my senior in cat high and aj and we have no recollection of one another aft 6 long years in the same sch...it's farnie how some people's path simply crossed only aft some years when they r so near yet so far...chatted abt the good old cat high days, abt the teachers, the common friens we knew and our ccas...a warm nostalgic feeling always come back whenever i chat abt cat high...i muz admit sec sch was the most memorable of all...the npcc days, 4-10, hormoned-charge boys in green shorts charging to taka aft the fri sch dismissal bell...chalets post OLevels...it was really fun and juz talking abt them brings back fond memories...
Outside the house i stayed in...Mag2 along Magnolia Ave (so nice the name sounds so cute rite...haha...simply love it...Magnolia Magnolia)
took a nap in the aftnoon...obviously still suffering frm small jabs of jetlag...woke up and went for UROC training at 4...UROC stands for Universal Ride operator course...as the water themeparks are not due to open until 3 weeks later...all would-be lifeguards are supposed to train as ride operators first before switching over...it was damn paiseh when we walked in...firstly we were late by 10min and secondly, looking ard realized that the trainees were all decked out in moreys uniforms...my group was grilled thruout the training session in a rather sacarstic manner...when the trainer talked abt professionalism and image counts...he told the class to look ard to understand what he means...KNN obviously talking abt us lah...den nxt shoot us or rather all the asian students by looking at our table when asking for volunteers to read a passage by asking straight "Who wants to practise their english huh?" and lastly, adding that our group was very quiet when in fact we did chip in a few constructive answers when prompted...so diff frm yesday when there was so much fun...but maybe is becoz the training today was more direct into our technical ride operator jobscope...got to learn how to handle difficult customers, emergency situations and some technical operations abt the rides...hopefully will come in handy in a good 2 years time when i step into the workforce
predict the ride is going to get tougher over the nxt few days...as will have to work thruout the wkend frm tml...still stuck in the holiday mood sia...kan blame someone who has never step out of Asia in his life and who is still obviously fascinated by the ways of life and the small everyday things of this western superpower half the globe away...gotta tell myself i am here to work and make some money frm now on...travel part will come in aft this
my teh pung for the nxt 2 wks at least...gonna torture whoever comes onboard...heh

How i wish i was given a choice for this...juz need to say welcome den press button and of coz ai zou jiu zou xiang dua eh
i dun mind this also lah
was assigned the sea dragon ride u know the viking ship ride we had at east coast ages ago...and will start proper training to operate it tml...chose it aft given the choice of dressing up as pirates to scare people, rollercoaster, big and mini bumper cars becoz it seems the most brainless and straightforward thing to operate...juz ensure pple are latched on, press button and den off they go...if i see some punks beh song or they call me a chink...i will make sure they get the worst ride of their life...angmohs and susas beware...i am not a dong ya bing fu ok!!
gotta sleep early to shake off the jetlag once and for all..besides gotta report for sea dragon training at 10 tml
good...ahhhh chewww...phewww....nite
