Day 2
The weather is so much warmer today...saw the sun for the 1st time since i arrived at Moreys...woke up at abt 6.30 am local time...kan help it when the morning sun is already so strong that pierced thru my eyes...their 6 a.m here is like 8 a.m back home...in fact the sun rises here at 6 a.m in Wildwood

Bio-clock not fully adjusted yet...the time i normally be sleeping like a pig i am taking a nap and vice versa...did a few sets of push-ups, crunches and dips on the carpet in the room and it was not long before i realized how unfit i am (nothing unusual really)...totally peng aft 2 sets of 30 and still wanna act tough go and apply be lifeguard...really chio xi lang...whole exam really nua and now is the best time to do something abt it...i dun wanna fail my ippt again...still remem that horrid ippt experience when ah cheks twice my age were lapping me in 2.4 and some ah di pti scorn at me for not completing it...the nxt time i will get the damn bloody gold lah...2.4 9:45 oni wad...no big deal lah...aftall i was the top 3 fittest clerk in mp&c man (there r oni 3 of us)...hahaha

reached Melissa's recruiting office at 10 a.m...sort out the admin stuff...got my employee pass and was confirmed as a lifeguard...in fact it's so coincidental that all 6 of us living in the same apartment are officially lifeguards...have to go thru 4 wks of life-saving...20 laps up and down each time...awarded a cert at the end of the course and seasonal bonus...all these in the olympic-sized kids' pool...u heard me KIDS' POOL...haha chey u all muz be tinking...i also chey damn loud when i first knew it...tot can be like the baywatch kind with fellow blonde curvaceous lifesavers saving the lives of brunette husky babes...wah lau in fact we are juz stationed at water theme parks ard the piers which is barely 1.5m tall in water depth...not very sure abt the exact details of the job yet but confirmed not the baywatch kind

my employee pass, free superfresh discount card and nametag (decided to call myself Leon Low...u kan have 2 kenneths doing the same job and sharing the same room running ard...pple will tink of-----> Brokeback the Mountain)

went for a quick lunch down the boardwalk at another pizza joint...this time ordered beef burger and coke...sat ard the boardwalk with the gang (which is obviously not a good idea wif throngs of hungry seagulls encircling ur head)...at 12.30 p.m went for our orientation...really amazed at how the angmohs are always so creative in presenting their stuff...something so dry like rules and regulations, etiquette and safety policies they can actually make it so interesting wif game shows and video clips...i bet if it is held in s'pore i confirm sleep one but yet the trainer can keep me awake wif so many interactive ways...we shud really learn frm these pple i suppose in how to even make working so fun and not so mechanical like the robots of shenton way and jurong island...kenna arrow by the trainer to read a passage half-way...and my group friendliness was the overall champion in the gameshow...got two moreys souvenier pens as rewards respectively

The highlight of the day no doubt belongs to preparing our very own dinner in the mini-kitchenette of our apartment...6 of us together wif moya and samantha who have kindly offered to cook our dinner tonite set out to Superfresh and Family Dollar 5 streets down the Ave for our ingredients and stuff...started cooking at ard 8p.m and i offered to be the washer wif limited culinary skills...moya our chief chef sure stirs up a mean meal...the boys were all contented wif the dishes which include omelette with sausage, cabbage wif carrot and last but not least black-peppered kitchen wif green pepper...WOW gastronomical muz be the best food so far...nothing beats home-cooked food no matter how jumbo the pizza can be...finally learned to appreciated how much mummy put in her effort to juz whip up one meal...wah lau really a lot of effort...frm buying to preparing & cutting to cooking andden to washing...mothers are really wei da...i salute to all of u esp my beloved mummy...suddenly got the urge to hug and thank her for all that she has given me rite now...this very moment on this chilly New Jersey nite.
